Announces Pricing Changes for Access to Audit Programs
AuditNet® has been offering access to audit programs since 1995.
In 2005, after 10 years of free and unrestricted access, a
registration login system was implemented to monitor and control
access. A bi-level system was established providing most users with
free access to over 1,300 audit programs (Level 1) and an option to
upgrade to a subscription for access to over an additional 300 audit
programs (Level 2). Since 2005, over 100,000 auditors have
registered to access the audit programs section of AuditNet®. The
large volume of Level 1 users required substantial support for
activation, password changes, email changes and resulted in a huge
administrative maintenance effort. In order to handle the
administrative process for Level 1, AuditNet® will begin charging
newly registered users for access after a 30 day trial subscription.
The annual cost for access to Level 1 content will be $12.
The annual cost of an individual subscription for premium content will increase from $100 to $125, the first price increase since 2006. During this period, from 2006 to 2008, the number of audit programs has increased from 300 to over 700, an increase of over 133%. Group licenses will remain unchanged for now making them an even better value for small and medium audit departments employing 10 auditors or less. All rates are subject to future price changes
There are several options for subscription payments. Subscribers can pay using PayPal or they can pay by credit card. AuditNet will also accept payments by check if they are drawn on a U.S. bank. Checks drawn on foreign banks will not be accepted for payments less than $200 and a $50 collection processing fee must be added to the payment.
As always auditors who would choose not to subscribe may submit audit programs on a one for one exchange, a model created by AuditNet® and duplicated by other online audit program repositories. None of them however comes close to the original model which has been operating since 1994.
AuditNet® has aggressively pursued new content through licensing
arrangements and contracts with subject matter experts. Both Level 1
and Level 2 users will see new content added including audit
programs, control matrices, questionnaires and monographs. There is
no other site on the Internet offering the depth of resources
offered by AuditNet®. I am sure that you will find value in what is
